mon anniversaire! <3

aujourd'hui marque une année depuis j'ai coupé tous (presque) mes cheveux! L'histoire est que j'ai du couper mes cheveux à cause de dommage par le chaleur de un voyage malheureux au coiffer Novembre 2009.  Donc sur le 25th Juin 2010 j'ai coupé tous des cheveux dommage et j'ai eu un petit afro comme ça:

today marks one year since I cut off all (nearly) my hair! the story is that I had to cut my hair because of heat damage from an unfortunate trip to the hairdresser on November 2009.  So on June 25th 2010 I cut  off all of the damaged hair and had a small afro like this:

Maintenant je suis tres content que j'ai fait le "big chop" parce que j'ai eu la chance de redoucouvrir mes cheveux.  J'ai toujours été naturelle mais je ne prends jamais le temps pour se renseigner sur mes chevaux, Maintenant je sais plus qu'avant et j'aime bien mes cheveux!

Now I am very happy that I did the "big chop" because I had the chance to rediscover my hair.  I have always been natural but I never took the time to learn about my hair.  Now I know more than before and I love my hair!

Je continue suivre FLOTUS comme elle voyage autour L'Afrique et aujourd'hui elle a eu une journée bien rempli.  Première elle a donné un discours dans l'église Regina Mundi a Soweto qui a été célèbre pendant la mouvement anti-Apartheid.  Dans la foule était des jeunes leaders d'Afrique.  

I continue to follow FLOTUS as she travels around Africa and today she had a busy day.  First she gave a speech in the Regina Mundi church in Soweto which was famous during the anti-Apartheid movement.  In the crowd were the young leaders of Africa. 

Elle a parlé des problèmes que les femmes trouvent en Afrique et comment les jeunes doivent chercher pour les solutions
She spoke of the problems African women face and how the youth have to find the solutions

Plus tard la Première Dame a aidé une centre communautaire avec leur jardin qui sert 300 familles.
Later the First Lady helped a community center with their garden which serves 300 families

the frizzy hair is gone

Je ne sais pas exactement comment, MAIS pas crépus!  Je suis très content et je pense que ils ont change à cause de un nouveau mélange je suis utiliser.  dernièrement je utilisant aloe vera gel et l'huile de coco et quelquefois baby lotion. J'ai reçu l'idée de College Curlies or Fabulous et Frugal (un autre blog fantastique) ici:http://www.collegecurlies.blogspot.com/  Et voila! Je suis allée à partir de ce:

I don't know exactly how, BUT no more frizzies! I am very happy and I think my hair changed because of the new mixture I'm using.  lately I am using ale vera gel, coconut oil and sometimes baby lotion.  I got the idea from College Curlies or Fabulous and Frugal (another fantastic blog) here:http://www.collegecurlies.blogspot.com/ And look! Le problème seulement est que mes cheveux n'est pas aussi doux que avant et je ne sais pas pourquoi MAIS j'ai acheté des produits de Darcy's Botanicals et j'éspere que ils font encore mes cheveux doux.  Je  vais vous laisser savoir!

The only problem is that my hair is not as soft as before and I don't know why BUT I bought some Darcy's Botanicals products and I hope they make my hair soft again.  I will let you know!

Je suis allée au Newseum ce weekend et je l'ai aime!  Ce un musée fabuleux surtout les expositions sur Katrina et 9/11.

J'aime les photos dans la Galerie Pulitzer les plus...Peut-etre je devrais devenir photographe (officieusement) et je juste achèterai un appareil de photo exceptionnel quand j'aurai assez argent...je ne sais pas mais je pense que la photographie soit une forme d'art captivante, que pensez-vous?

I love the photos in the Pulitzer Gallery the most...maybe I should become a photographer (unofficially) and by a great camera when I have enough money...I don't know but I do think that photography is a captivating art form, what do you think?
